“I would like to know if you have any solutions for getting the cigarette smell off a cat, without putting them in the bath. Is there a dry bath that you could use instead. Like maybe cornstarch with a essential oil or something like this? Please let me know I really need a solution fast. Thank you for your help on this subject.”

Cigarette smell within a kitten’s fur is undoubtedly an unusual condition. Regardless of how strange this may sound, the following solutions can help to deodorize a feline and ensure that it no longer smells of cigarettes.
1 Cat Bath Wipes
Bath wipes can be used to clean and deodorize a cat when bathing it within soapy water is out of the question. As an additional benefit, cats often prefer bath wipes because they feel as though they are receiving a massage during its application.
2 Deodorizing Cat Spray
In addition to bath wipes, deodorizing cat product sprays can be helpful in neutralizing cigarette odors within a cat’s fur. These types of cleaning solutions are advantagious because they can deliver a deodorizing effect after only a few brief sprays. However, cats will almost always be adverse to direct sprays, so it may be a good idea to team up with a second person to hold the cat in place while you perform this function.
3 Waterless Cat Shampoo
This product solution comes out as foam and can be worked within the cat’s fur with your hands. Initially, most cats will not feel the moisture and will not be adverse to the shampoo’s application. For best results, first spray the deodorizing foam within your hands rather than applying the foam directly on the cat. This will help to minimize any shock within the cat during the cleaning process.
4 Baking Soda + Wet Rag
As a final solution, small quantities of baking soda can be used to absorb cigarette odors within your cat’s fur. Mix a solution of one part baking soda with eight parts water within a small bowl. Proceed to dip a cloth within this mixture and lightly apply it to your cat. It is important not to apply too much of this formula, as large amounts of baking soda can result in adverse health problems if indigested by your cat. As a rule of thumb, keep this solution as light as possible while applying it within your cat’s fur.

This household acid can work wonders in cutting through the entrench foot aroma within your Crocs. Mix a solution of one part white vinegar to four parts warm water within a large rectangular container. Next, proceed to dunk your Crocs within this solution making sure that they are fully submerge. If your pair of Crocs have a tendency to float, a weight can be placed on top of them to ensure that they remain fully within this solution. If you have the time, placing the Crocs outside within direct sunlight for several days can be a deodorizing charm. Once non odor remains within the Crocs, they can be taken inside and put back within your daily footwear collection.
Many people would not consider cat litter for deodorizing Crocs, but it’s absorbent granules happens to work well in pulling difficult odors out from the interior of the Croc rubber. Fill a small clean tub with unused cat litter and proceed to bury your smelly Croc within the deodorizing granules. Allow 2-3 days to pass before removing the freshen Crocs from the mound of cat litter and putting them back within use.
For especially difficult odors, a rubber safe enzyme solution ca be used to literally eat the odorous organic foot residues from the Croc’s interior. Fill up a large rectangle tub with enzyme cleaner and water mixed within equal parts and proceed to dunk the smelly Crocs within the solution. Make sure that the Crocs remain within this solution for a minimum of 3 hours before removing to air dry within the sun.
Foot odors have a nasty way of building within rubber footwear unlike any other material. It is important that the Crocs are treated as soon as the smallest hint of an aroma develops. If the odors go untreated, sweat and dead skin cells can accumulate and odorous bacteria that feeds upon these residues will not be far behind. The longer you wait, the smellier they will get and the more challenging the Crocs will become to deodorize.
As an alternative solution, activated charcoal can work well in absorbing difficult chemical stenches within a new mattress. Gather 12-18 activated charcoal briquettes and spread them out on the underside of the bed’s mattress. Finalize by opening the windows within the bedroom and allowing the enzyme moisture to naturally evaporate away.
The high alcohol content within this solution works well at neutralizing odors on contact and quickly evaporating away. Mix equal parts of water and vodka within a generic spray bottle and proceed to mist down the smelly new mattress. You can finish this process by opening the windows and allowing the moisture to quicklt evaporate away.
As a final solution, using the home remedy of cutting up onions will help to absorb difficult odors from a new mattress. Take one onion and cut it up into quarters, placing one part within four different bowls. Fill each of these bowls with a half cup of water and place them in key locations around the mattress. Allow the onions to work their absorption magic over the course of the following 2-3 days before removing the bowls and enjoying a freshened mattress.

As a preventative solution to this problem, the shoes can be rotated with another pair to ensure that one pair is being aired out while the other is being worn. This method can also help with maintaining a fresh apperance on a daily basis, as Converse shoes come within a range of colors and styles.
As an old tried and true method, the use of baking soda to absorb difficult foot odors can work well in deodorizing Converse shoes. Measure 2-3 teaspoon of the deodorizing powder and sprinkle within the interior of each shoes. Proceed to shuffle the Converse lightly to ensure that baking soda makes it all of the way down to the toe area where the smells are at there worst. Continue this practice nightly until the baking soda been effective at absorbing all of your foot odor to leave your Converse smelling fresh.
Placing your Chacos outside within the sun can have a power deodorizing effect on the sandals. The UV rays will work to dry up and neutralize any foot related bacteria that may be causing the odor. Additionally, the open space and fresh air will work to diffuse the any remaining stink within the rubber material. For best results, place the Chacos within a location within the yard where it will receive a minimum of 8 hours of direct sunlight. If any odors remain after the first day, feel free to place them within the sun for a second or third day until they are smelling fresh.
As a product solution, many people would not think to use denture cleaner for deodorizing rubber Chacos. However, this ingredient can work wonders in cutting through smelly foot residues to leave the Chacos smelling fresh. Fill a large rectangluar dish with water and drop in one tablet of Efferdent. Next, place the Chacos within the solution upside down and allow the sandals to soak for 2-3 hours. After this time has passed, remove the Chacos and air dry them within the sun. 
Most Airwalks allow for the use of a washing machine to clean and deodorize the shoes. Be sure to check your Airwalk’s tag to see if this is a possibility before running them through the washer. If so place the shoes within the washer and add in your normal clothing detergent along with a half cup of baking soda. Run the wash on the coldest setting and place the shoes outside within direct sunlight for drying to prevent shoe shrinkage.
As fast solution for lighter odors, the smelly pillow and fabric softener sheets can be be placed within the dryer. For best results, place at least 4-6 fabric softening sheets in within the dryer and run on the lightest setting for 20-30 minutes. This solution only works with synthetic and is not recommended for feather pillows.
If the pillow is more than a year old, you may want to consider just buying a new one. Pillows are rather inexpensive and are an item that you use nightly. A ten dollar purchase of a new pillow may be an investment that will pay off in the end.
Often, all that is required to deodorize the interior of a protein shaker is to soak it within a mixture of dish detergent and hot water. Plug your sink, fill it partially up with hot water and squeeze out 2-3 teaspoons of dish detergent within the water. Give the mixture and good stir and then place the parts to you protein shaker within the soapy bath. Allow the protein shaker to soak for 1-2 hours before returning to scrub any residues away and rinse it off.
If the soaking the protein shaker within hot water and dish detergent has not been effective, using baking soda can have a much larger impact. Scoop 2-3 teaspoon of baking soda into the protein shaker and fill the remaining space with hot water. Proceed to shake the protein shaker vigorously for 3-5 minutes, and then place it on the counter to sit for another hour. After this time has passed, the contents can be poured out and the freshened protein shaker can be rinsed out.
Just like vodka, rubbing alcohol is able to eliminate food-based odor through it’s extremely high alcohol content. Mix a solution of one part rubbing alcohol and four part warm water within the shaker. Seal the lid and give it a healthy shake for 2-4 minutes before setting the shaker down to rest for an hour. After this time has passed, the contents can be pour out and the shaker can be rinsed clean.
This solution can work well in wiping out odor within light colored pillowcases. Mix a solution of one part hydrogen peroxide with four parts warm water and dunk the affected pillow cases within the formula. Allow the pillowcases to soak for an entire hour before removing the and placing them through a detergent washing machine cycle. 
This solution is highly effective in deodorizing bad odors within white pillow cases. The bleach goes to work in breaking down any smelly residues that may be infused within the linen fiber and leaves it smelling fresh. Begin a normal detergent wash cycle of your white pillow cases and add in a full cup of bleach within the mixture once the water has filled in within the machine.
